This upgrade is part of the Technical Improvement Program (TIP); it replaces the existing overhead spline shaft with a new, hardened spline shaft.
This improves the performance of the overhead and load handling. Along with the new hardened spline shaft, two new broach sleeves, a drive pulley, a flange bearing, a taper lock bushing and an adapter are also included.
