Description of Improvement

This upgrade is part of the Technical Improvement Program (TIP); it replaces the obsolete PLC-controlled Splicer to PC controls. The current PLC and touch panel are replaced with Ethernet I/O to run the splicer controls. For sheeter lines that are PC controlled, the splicer control is fully integrated into the main PC.

This upgrade includes all necessary engineering, associated hardware, print updates, and manual updates.
